DM Squared specializes in micro-to-medium, precision machined parts. We provide these components to a wide variety of industries from Medical and Aerospace to Robotics and Critical Industrial sectors. Any application that requires precision and high quality. We achieve this quality through the use of best-in-class equipment including over 20 Swiss-style screw machines as well as 5-axis machining centers with robotic loading options. We also have a Quality Management System (QMS) that is ISO 9001/AS9100 and ISO 13485 certified.

Since its founding in 2004, DM Squared has focused on manufacturing small, precise parts. Swiss-style screw machines were originally designed to make intricate watch components. The design of a Swiss machine also makes it possible to hold tolerances as tight as +/-.0001. This allows skilled manufacturers to eliminate grinding operations for some components. DM squared has a long history of holding high-precision tolerances which requires the facility to be climate controlled. Our inspection room is on an isolated slab and has a separate climate control. Our gauges are all calibrated by an ISO 17025 accredited supplier.

History

DM Squared was founded in 2004 with a plan to focus heavily on Swiss-style Screw machining and small, precise components. Our first facility was 4,000 square feet and located in Rural Hall, NC. In 2012 we moved to a 13,500 sq ft located in King, NC. Most recently, we built a 35,000 sq ft building and moved in November of 2022. This has allowed us ample room for our more than 20 Swiss-Style screw machines, 2 5-axis machining centers and our twin-spindle twin turret lathe (for larger projects).
