HCC has a general contracting background, and we are therefore comfortable executing site, concrete, steel, and all other building trades required to complete a project, whether ground-up construction by HCC or working within a new or existing building.

Over the last 42 years HCC has grown to be the largest cleanroom and dry room contractor in the US. HCC has offices in MA, FL, and CA with regional operations in TN/KY and IN/OH/MI. Clean Rooms West, LLC (CRW) a Hodess Company, has been an industry leader in cleanroom design and component manufacturing and installation, since inception in 1990. CRW retains a solid market share for all types of cleanrooms used in pharmaceutical, biomedical, and medical devices.

Manufacturing and Distribution

CRW manufactures and distributes several proprietary products including CRW’s Flex Wall, Modular Wall Systems, and heavy-duty ceiling systems, “Precision T” and “Power T”. All component fabrication is completed in CRW’s 25,000 sf facility in Tustin, CA. CRW also offers a complete line of custom components including Air Showers, Pass Throughs, Laminar Flow Units, and VERSA-CLEAN soft-wall cleanrooms, designed to fit any application.

In-house Engineering

CRW projects are design-build, whether they are modular or standard construction, self-performing design in-house including architectural, structural, and mechanical engineering. Unlike other companies who rely on outside engineering, CRW retains in-house engineers to design our systems. This allows CRW to be innovative and cost conscious in selecting equipment and designing engineered systems. This also gives control over project budgets and schedules.

HCC and CRW

HCC has been designing and building cleanrooms since 1981 and in the 1990s HCC added the design and construction of dry rooms. To increase our depth and breadth of experience, in 2023 HCC acquired CRW, with nationwide experience, as well as in Mexico and Costa Rica. Both HCC and CRW provide a single source of responsibility that our customers rely on to ensure their cleanroom facilities work without finger pointing at other contractors or designers.

Protocol Management Services, LLC (PMS) is a full-service cleanroom cleaning, maintenance, and protocol management company. We can provide the complete cleanroom management package for construction projects, as well as services post-construction and into production. Our knowledgeable and professional staff have industry backgrounds in many disciplines including cleanroom construction and cleanroom cleaning.

Cleaning and Decontamination Services

We offer cleaning and decontamination services in all cleanroom industries, from ISO Class 1 to ISO Class 8 environments nationwide, as well as construction cleaning through full-service maintenance cleaning. With the ever-changing regulations, guidelines, and practices for manufacturing in all industries, many companies have found themselves facing new challenges. PMS visits facilities to audit the conditions of the existing spaces and to make recommendations to reach ISO Standards, or other necessary regulations. We then assist the client by providing recommendations on how to use and change the current facility, gowning, cleaning, and production practices to accommodate the client. We also provide and assist in writing SOP’s and specifications.
