Micro Spring and Wire Form Manufacturing

HyTech’s core product line includes precision springs, wire forms, and related micro-machined / micro-formed components. Serving the modern healthcare sector, aerospace, and other highly challenging industries, we are well-versed in meeting the most challenging product specifications while exceeding our customers’ quality expectations.

Compression Springs – We produce various types of compression springs including open end, closed end, and ground ends. Wire diameters range from .0015” to .180” in size. Our machining department utilizes automated feeding to grinders, crush grinding and down-feed grinding, with the ability to hold extremely close tolerances.

Extension Springs – HyTech manufactures both standard and custom extension springs with a range of unique end configurations and hook designs. We specialize in the production of high-precision springs with wire diameters ranging from .002” to .178” in size. Extension spring end configurations include:

• Crossover (English) Hook
• Machine (German) Hook

Torsion Springs – Hytech is also one of the medical industry’s leading manufacturers of torsion springs. These critical components are common in many types of electronic medical devices, as well as for specialized sensors, switches, electrical interconnects, and acoustic equipment. Our custom torsion spring configurations include left and right handed coils, single and double torsion designs with complex leg configurations in wire diameters ranging from .002” round and shaped wire to .178” in size.

Wire Forms – HyTech specializes in producing custom wire forms commonly found in medical device linkages and tips, amongst many other unique applications. Our company has engineered innovative manufacturing processes and inspection procedures for wire cross-sections in order to achieve extreme tolerances with repeatability.
