Silicone keyboards:The use of silicone as the main material for keyboards brings many advantages. Silicone is an extremely flexible material that has high resistance and durability. Another advantage is its water and dirt resistance. This makes them ideal for use in environments where high hygiene is required. Additionally, silicone keyboards operate quietly compared to conventional mechanical keyboards, producing minimal noise. Furthermore, silicone keyboards offer a diverse selection of designs and colors. This allows users to customize their keyboard to their individual style and preferences.
Membranes:All design ideas can be realized almost limitlessly with front foils and membrane keypads. We offer both embossing of the top foil and the option to combine it with a metal dome to provide the operator with additional feedback. Depending on the application, our membrane keypads can offer exactly the desired, required, and expected characteristics. The keypads or overlays are easily and cost-effectively mounted using an adhesive layer, making them relatively inexpensive to maintain. Additionally, when needed, membrane keypads can be antibacterial and very easy to clean. For the realization of your product, the overlay can be designed either through silkscreen- or digital printing. To meet the standards, our facility is certified according to EN ISO 13458.
Touch Solutions:For the construction of touch systems as industrial PCs or control units for particularly challenging environments, we rely on a combination of various input technologies. Starting with a seamless and frameless front surface made of tempered glass or plastic, and a sealed, flush-mounted metal frame made of anodized aluminum, all the way to the individual rear panel, we offer an application-optimized system solution for all customer-specific configurable components inside the housing.
The touch integration is achieved by attaching a sensor to the back of a front glass panel or by integrating a sensor surface directly onto the printed circuit board. Thus, the operation is not performed on the sensor itself but on a wear-resistant and smartphone-like glass/plastic control surface (PCAP technology) – even with gloves. In contrast to a design with front foils as a protective surface for the touch unit, the tempered glasses processed by us can be used with a thickness of up to 20mm, providing a significant advantage in terms of robustness.
