Certifications and Manufacturing Excellence
Tanury Industries has achieved world class quality certifications, applying NADCAP and lean manufacturing principles into our production processes. We are proud to be NADCAP and AS9100D certified, ensuring that medical, defense and aerospace coatings meet the rigorous standards needed for these industries.
Comprehensive Electroplating Capabilities
Our electroplating division offers extensive coating options including soft gold for electronics and industrial applications as well as heavy gold, rhodium, silver, palladium, platinum, chrome and nickel finishes. We are a high volume/large capacity facility. We also offer aluminum and zincating capabilities as well as plating on metalized ABS plastics.
Advanced PVD Coating Technology
Tanury introduced PVD in 1994 to the decorative coating market place. Using a unique dry-vacuum process, parts are coated with materials such as ultra-hard zirconium, chromium or titanium nitride. Physical Vapor Deposition is typically used for high-wear applications and in any industry where the visual and functional performance of an item can be enhanced with a durable decorative coating. For example, PVD coatings are commonly used in medical, automotive, plumbing, hardware, manufacturing, and electronic applications.
Durable Cerakote Ceramic Coatings
We provide Cerakote ceramic coatings for a wide variety of industries. This durable coating can hold up to wear and tear, corrosion and chemical resistance, and impact strength. Cerakote is a ceramic based coating that is flexible and has excellent wear resistance. Its ceramic polymer technology offers superior corrosion properties, high heat capabilities, and is chemical and solvent resistant. Cerakote offers over 200 unique colors that can be applied to various metals, plastics, composites, and other materials.
Clear Coating Solutions
Clear coats are available through our electroplating and Cerakote divisions. We offer E-coat (Electrophoretic) which is a clear plastic resin that is deposited onto the entire surface of the part and baked at a high temperature to cure. This produces a crystal clear, durable coating, 200 to 300 micro-inches thick, with a pencil hardness of at least 4h. The coating is highly resistant to many chemicals, solvents and detergents. E-Coat should provide six months to one year plus shelf life and wear. We also offer various clear coat in Cerakote that leads the industry in hardness, chemical resistance, wear performance and UV stability. Whether matte or gloss the air cured, ceramic clear coating can be used as a top coat over several materials such as metals, composites, plastics, PVD, plating and more.
