ROSA® Knee System

The ROSA Knee System is a robotic platform designed to assist orthopedic surgeons with bone resections and soft tissue assessment during a total knee arthroplasty. It is possible for the surgeon to use surgical planning software to plan implant positioning and sizing preoperatively. It is also possible for the surgeon to use ROSA Knee System imageless options in order to accomplish the same goal as an image-based case.

With the robotic arm, the users can manually move the robotic unit by measuring the force exerted at the end of the arm and then compensating for that force according to the instrument used.
