New Testing Facility Opens to Improve Product Safety and Deliverability
WESTPAK’s new laboratory in Union City, CA, expands capacity and testing capabilities
WESTPAK, Inc., a leading 3rd-party laboratory providing trusted testing solutions for the medical device, pharmaceutical, and high-tech industries, officially opens its new state-of-the-art laboratory in Union City, California, on November 13. The new laboratory will be accredited to ISO 17025 for mechanical and environmental testing of products and packaging from the medical device, pharmaceutical packaging, computer hardware, consumer goods, and food industries. The new facility is part of WESTPAK’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality testing services that deliver results with speed, quality, and world-class customer support.

With WESTPAK’s San Jose and San Diego labs, the new 18,500-square-foot Union City facility brings more than 100,000 square feet of testing and administrative space. The new laboratory is equipped with the latest technology and infrastructure. At launch, it will house a team of experienced engineers and staff, with additional team members to be added in due course. The new laboratory will enable WESTPAK to support clients and partners in accelerating product development and approvals by providing expedited testing services.
