TVM Capital Healthcare and Siemens Healthineers Announce Landmark Cooperation, Focus On South East Asia
TVM Capital Healthcare, which is a healthcare provider with a focus on emerging markets, and Siemens Healthineers, recently announced a landmark cooperation, with the intention of supporting and accelerating the growth of innovative countries within the South East Asia. Under this agreement, TVM’s portfolio companies in the region will be able to utilise Siemens Healthineers’ knowledge in the medical technology industry, as well as its strong global presence.
Through Siemens Healthineers’ exclusive “Value Partnership” model, the company enables healthcare providers to optimise business processes, broaden capabilities and further innovation. SE also intends on providing access to its Consulting Hub in Singapore, which provides consultation on healthcare strategies, the development of “Centers of Excellence” in focussed areas (such as Cardiology, Neurilogy, and Oncology), operational improvement and digitalisation.
TVM Capital Healthcare is homed in on in investments in the localisation of manufacturing, ex-hospital care, de-risking medical supply chains, highly specialised clinics, clinic chains (in fields such as cardiology, diagnostics and oncology), as well as disease management and home care. A huge effort will be put into sourcing enabling platform technologies, which can aid the portfolio in improving care access, as well as quality enhancement and sustainability performance.
